McCamey ISD has confirmed with UPSO there is no threat to the school district. The Lockout has been lifted at all campuses.

McCamey ISD received a report of a situation in town involving law enforcement. McCamey ISD campuses immediately went into a practice not allowing anyone in or out of buildings referred to as a Lockout. Normal daily procedures continue to operate inside buildings but again no one will be allowed to go outside or come inside. MISD confirmed there is no threat to the students and staff, but will remain in the Lockout as a precaution. McCamey ISD will provide an update soon.
